Who is Only Fence

Only Fence was established in 2024 when the owner, Jed Nessinger, was approached about installing a fence. At the time, Jed had a background in construction and was ready to take on the task. While searching for a reliable supplier, he discovered the no dig fence system. After trying it out, he developed a passion for the work. While some individuals work for money or acknowledgment, we install fences because we find joy in the work and take pride in the satisfaction of our customers once the job is complete.

As I grew up, I was perpetually "inventing" new gadgets and envisioning innovative ideas. I got my first set of power tools at the age of 8, and by 10, I was constructing tree houses 12 feet above the ground. By 28, I began building my own home, the very same one I reside in today. I've always enjoyed working with my hands and channeling my energy into projects that I could physically create, see, and touch. Throughout my construction journey, I've completed a robust number of projects, and like many things in life, I stumbled upon building fences. I had no idea I would gain so much satisfaction from this type of work. I soon found myself researching best practices and figuring out what works and what doesn’t, often for hours on end. I started to notice that fences are everywhere, and with enough determination, I could have my fences set up throughout Central PA. Although I operate solo, I dream of expanding and assisting homeowners in securing what truly matters in their backyards. Additionally, being a huge dog lover, it’s a wonderful perk to meet many people's furry family members along the way. The only downside to installing fences is having to say farewell to my clients after the job is complete, as many of them become friends by the end of the project.
